Focused on the Future
As part of Reading Corps, Math Corps or Early Learning Corps you’ll spend your days helping kids build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Get Started
Get Ready to Love Mondays Again
Being a tutor is incredibly rewarding. As you work with students, you’ll build a bond and they’ll become your biggest fans. You can expect to receive plenty of high fives, hugs and excited hellos. While you provide the 1:1 time they crave, you’re building the skills they need to thrive.
The Experience Overview
Location
Placed at a school, you’ll work with kids 1:1 or in groups to help them get extra practice and build their skills and confidence.
Schedule
Start and end times vary by location, but you’ll generally follow the same daily schedule as your school. When students are on break for holidays and release days, so are you!
Training
No experience? No problem! Your Reading Corps/Math Corps service will begin with training. We will teach you everything you need to know and support you every step of the way.
Community
As a tutor, you’ll be a special part of the team at your school. A school staff member will be your internal coach and help you day to day. You’ll also have support from your program manager and opportunities to connect with other tutors in your area.
